Welcome tothe NYS Next Generation Roadmap Spotlight, a platform for illuminatingNew York State’s progress as we journey through the Next Generation Learning StandardsRoadmap.
The Roadmap Spotlight highlights action steps taken towards implementing the Viva88(NYS)Next Generation English Language Arts (ELA) and Mathematics Learning Standards. Educators, administrators, and leaders across Viva88contribute articles with each other in mind, sharing their successes, challenges, and best practices related to the implementationof the revised standards.
The NYS Next Generation Roadmap Spotlightwill be published regularly, and articles can be accessed throughthe menu located on the upper-left portion of this page. Clicking on an arrow to the right of the newsletter edition will display the abstracts for each of the edition's articles, with an option to read the full articles of interest in their entirety.
